Agile/Integrator 3 Funding Announced
The UKRI Trustworthy Autonomous Systems Hub is inviting researchers and academics from the TAS network and Industry partners to take part in Round 3 of the Agile and Integrator research programme to propose collaborative research projects up to 12 months in duration.
Specifically, research projects of interest (priority areas) for this final round of TAS Agile/Integrator are anticipated to fall into the dual remit of looking back to look forward:
- TAS Legacy & Impact. Projects that cement the key overarching insights, methodologies and technologies that may have impact for years to come for the TAS programme. We are looking for breadth across the TAS Horizontals and Verticals (see the call document) including the previous challenges of “TAS for a fair and inclusive world” and “TAS for net zero.” Existing TAS project teams that wish to do additional work towards impact and/or TAS legacy (e.g., to involve stakeholders, further develop a software or product to increase TRL, review methods across TAS, scale up a study, etc. ) should apply for this type and use the legacy & impact proposal form linked below.
- Future Responsible and Trustworthy AI. Projects that identify and address some of the persistent and/or pertinent challenges underpinning the renewed interests and priorities of the new UKRI RTAI programme (see the UKRI RTAI call). This type is appropriate for new projects that do not or only peripherally build on existing projects; the standard proposal form linked below should be used.
The TAS Network involves researchers from the Hub, Nodes, Responsibility Projects, Pump Priming Projects, and International Strategic Partners (UTA and JHU). The Agile/Integrator programme specifically focuses on leveraging existing resources and expertise within these projects to consolidate and synthesise research across the TAS programme.
