Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) means doing research in a way that anticipates how it might affect people and the environment in the future so that we can gain the most benefit and avoid harm. RRI is at the heart of the Trustworthy Autonomous Systems (TAS) research programme.

This project is helping the researchers in the TAS Hub and network by promoting and supporting a range of responsible research practices.

Artists can also play a pivotal role in RRI, acting as a bridge between research, policymakers and the public, and we will explore how artists implement or employ responsibility in and through their creative practice.
