The TAS Hub has brought together a diversity of partners, from industry, government, NGOs, academic institutions and many others.
The research phase of the TAS Programme is now complete so we are not accepting new applications. Other opportunities may be found at:
The heart of the Hub is collaboration, with the aim to unearth the questions about how we can make autonomous systems trustworthy. What is it that makes them trustworthy – or untrustworthy? And how can we address those questions through research and collaboration?
During the TAS programme, we engaged with our industry partners to:
– Inform and collaborate on our research
– Accelerate impact by communicating research early on
– Attend 50% of TAS workshops and sandpits
– Engage in knowledge and tech transfer opportunities
For more information, please read our Partnership framework.
We also worked with academics and their respective institutions to:
– Collaborate on research projects with expertise and facilities
– Cascade the research outcomes and key messages of the Hub through partner communication channels
– Train the next generation of AI researchers, influencers, policymakers, and business owners through the Hub’s Skills Programme.
Public opinion on the trustworthiness of autonomous systems was used to help inform our research questions and evaluate the effectiveness of our research. People were invited to workshops and events, talk with us and our partners about their opinions on autonomous systems.
