The UKRI Trustworthy Autonomous Systems Programme is the world’s largest research programme in Trustworthy AI and Autonomous Systems. The vision of the programme is to enable the development of socially beneficial autonomous systems that are trustworthy in principle and trusted in practice by the public, government, and industry.
The TAS Hub sits at the heart of the programme and assembles a diverse and multi-disciplinary team of researchers and industry partners, and government representatives. Six TAS Nodes and three smaller projects were also funded as part of the programme to focus on the following core areas: Governance and Regulation, Trust, Resilience, Functionality, Security, Responsibility, and Verifiability.
